The seminar will take place over the course of two days, to allow over night drying time, which is required by the product, and especially to understand it as closely as possible (as we are dealing with natural/mineral products and nature cannot be fooled). As a general rule, this principal is not really grasped until one has experienced it, or better yet, worked on it. In principal, the participants are asked to get actively involved by "handling the paste", while the spectators are not authorised.

Insofar as possible among the commercial partners, this should be a partner who knows the client relationship. It is thus this partner who will be in charge of announcing the seminar, collecting registrations, invoicing and receiving payment. Concerning information on the seminar, particular attention shall be placed on the content, and precisely on the material included in the list below, after insuring that the client has indeed received the information.

The site will be chosen by the organiser. It is indispensable to have a surface area sufficiently large so that the participants can have ample space. In addition, an area for the boards to dry is needed. In case of a high degree of humidity, it will be useful to plan a possible additional drying method (dehumidifier). Although the work is essentially done on the boards, it would be useful to have a section of vertical wall available (it could be used later as a reference surface as well) in order to proceed to a concrete demonstration of the applications. Because the boards have a dimension of approximately 1 m², for practical reasons, it will be necessary to plan their placement, independently of the amount of participants. Trestles will be provided for the workshop, and possibly ladders (double with hooks). In no case should the boards warp during the course of the workshop (thus MDF boards that are a minimum of 5 mm thick and a maximum of 10 mm).

• 1st day Start at 2:00 PM and lasting about 5:30 PM (according to demand)

• 2nd day Start at 8:30 AM and lasting about 2:00 PM (depending on the discus sion and the questions raised).

• 1st day Welcoming address, personal introduction, theoretical introduction with informational support on the product, technical information on the product (this part will be developed during training in order to channel spontaneous questions). Then the first work phase will begin (plan at least 2 boards per participant). Finally, discussion on the colour to be added. The procedure is not difficult for lime-based products, nor lime-based paint, but is in no way comparable to regular paint. It must therefore be worked on.

• 2nd day Checking the work carried out the day before. Beginning of the second work phase including the theoretical part involved, then a break. In the meantime, during the drying phase, additional theoretical information, responses to question concerning the different workphases and discussion on the different possibilities for decoration. Work with impregnation paste. Final debate and response to questions.

Such a seminar can, or should (particularly in winter) be organised Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Experience has shown that painters preferred this schedule.

The leftover material will be offered to the participants, including the tools, the catalogue and the material, so that they can continue to work on their boards if they like, as an exercise or sample.
