RIVESTO-PROTECTOR® is a liquid, hydrophobic impregnating product with a high penetration rate designed for porous supparts (floors, walls, ceilings) for use indoors (Type 40) or outdoors (Type 34 or 34 M). RIVESTO-PROTECTOR® is appropriate for all types of impregnation against water, moss, algae, fungus and bacteria and salt bloom (cf. the test carried out by the Venice Technological University - Dr Carlo Botteghi, last page). RIVESTO-PROTECTOR® has the property of penetrating under the treated surface to become fixed at a depth of 1.5-2.0 mm and to spread out forming a multidirectional net (its chemical characteristics prevent the product from penetrating further and from rising to the surface). An optimal protection will be obtained by a second surface treatment within 24 hours, generating a greater density of the " net ".

RIVESTO-PROTECTOR® after application it can no longer be removed except by wear or by damaging the surface. Aging tests elaborated by the Venice Technological University have shown that, in the first three months following application of RIVESTO-PROTECTOR®, the net continues to spread and densify even more in order to ensure a constant impregnating action. This property can thus be qualified as being durable (minimum 5 years, except for exterior change or surface damage). And here are all the most important advantages of RIVESTO-PROTECTOR®: an easy, clean application In its original packaging and/or if it is correctly closed, the product has a shelf-life of 12 months. The product can be applied on all porous supports such as concrete, stone, flagstones (even synthetic), tiling, marble, Marmorino, limestone, sprayed on (even old), wood and even particle board, etc. For wood, it is recommended first to apply two impregnating surface coats. The treated surface is not at all modified ; the color, the structure and the aspect are kept since the product penetrates under the surface and causes no molecular change. After complete penetration, about 24 hours, the treatment becomes invisible. Any application marks (traces) disappear completely. Permeability is maintained (steam), but no saline solutions can rise to the surface (cf. photo near). It prevents the appearance of algae, fungus and bacteria and salt bloom and because of this prevents soiling of walls, floors and joints by these substances. It impregnates existing joints (not the cracks), for example the floors of terraces, parvis and prevents the spreading of humidity in floors and walls. RIVESTO-PROTECTOR® is not a cleaning product.
